Excitement and anticipation grows as Bekah's due date draws near. I cannot wait for Claire to be born, so I can hold her, cuddle her, and do girly things with her like paint her nails and play dress up. Even though the baby shower was not that long ago, not even a day to be exact, it keeps replaying in my mind. It makes me think of how soon Claire will be here, and even though Bekah's belly is growing, it still seems surreal. Although having children seems like a very run of the mill thing, I guess it is different when you know that Lord willing you will be in that child's life, and in some ways helping to shape that child's life.
My husband talks about his immediate family, as well as relatives from his Mother and Father's side of the family and how they have shaped his thinking, influenced him one way or another. I pray that my husband and I will be a Godly influence to Claire throughout her life. I also hope that Claire will not be annoyed with how many pictures I will be taking of this precious new princess in our family. :)
